Okay, who’s confused by today’s title? Everyone? Good. I had the strangest dream last night and I just thought that I would share it with all of you. You could use a good laugh. As a bit of explanation, I’ve been having dreams lately that relate to school. I suppose because I’m not there right now and kind of wish I was. Anyways. Here’s what happened:
The first thing I can remember is that I was at Camp Judson, sort of. It’s the strange, distorted version of Camp Judson that I end up at every once in a while when I dream. So, the important part here at the beginning is that I’m running around camp with socks on, but no shoes. I can’t remember what it was I was doing, but I have the sense that it was somewhat important. Then I was going back to my cabin, probably to get some shoes. (For anyone who knows the layout of Camp Judson, I was in cabin 18 or so, out on that arc, though the hill was much less steep.) Someone decided to carry me there, I think it might have been Jesse, and not because the ground was rocky and dangerous to bare feet, but because the ground was wet. Apparently I just couldn’t get my socks wet. ;)
So then I was in the cabin with Suzy and Sara. The door was supposed to be able to lock, but we couldn’t get it shut right, so a bear came in. The bear came up just past my waist on all fours and had really soft brown fur. Suzy and Sara were freaking out, and I was scared too, but I was right by the door so I had to deal with it. For some reason the bear had a collar, so I grabbed it by the collar and shoved it out the door, at which point the door closed and locked properly.
Here there is a void in my memory of the dream. I know there was a halfway logical transition, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was.
Anyway, next I was on a cliff with Dianna, and we had to catch a penguin. For school. It was somehow related to a project that we were doing. And there were penguins on the cliff. But you had to be careful trying to catch one because they would jump off the cliff into the water below and get away. But we managed to catch one and were sitting in a hammock with it. The hammock was hanging out over the cliff. When we got out of the hammock, I accidentally dropped the penguin off the cliff, which meant that we had to go catch a new one. Only I wasn’t with Dianna anymore. Now my partners were Mandy and Jess Blackington (percussionist in the band, Sully RA next year). We tried several times and didn’t manage to get one. They just kept jumping off the cliff.
I went back one last time by myself to find that the cliff was now like an entryway, with one set of doors leading off the cliff and one set leading up the path away from the edge. In the entryway were four penguins, one of which was very small. So I decided that I would catch the small one and put it in my violin case. (Don’t worry, it was my old violin case, the good violin was never in danger) But the wind made the doors open and the little penguin and its mother got away. Another penguin was hiding in a corner, but I managed to grab it. Unfortunately, once I had my arms around it, it started growing bigger. Which meant that I was having a very hard time holding on to it. Jess and Mandy came back at this point, but I don’t know if we managed to finish our project, because that’s when I woke up.
So there you have it. This is the sort of dream that Kim tends to have when she is not sleep deprived. Real people in almost real places doing very strange things. Make of it what you will. The part that seems strangest to me is the penguins. I mean, Kevin is the penguin person in the family, not me. Oh well. After all, it was just a dream.
This afternoon I have my interview at Hy-Vee. So I may soon know what I’ll be doing for the rest of the summer. I’ll be sure to let you know what happens.
God bless.

it sounds like maybe you took a dive off that cliff instead of the penquins....wow...you did make me laugh though. Yayness.
I had a strange dream last night too that the Sara(h)'s and Suzy and Matthew West were in. It was odd. Is it a bad thing when random rock stars show up in your dreams?
Dianna

I can't even begin to explain the weirdness of my sleeping mind. It's even stranger than my waking mind. ;)
As to your question, the Elvish script is Feanorian letters (with .. over the e).
