Whoosh!

Well, the semester officially started today. And how do things look from here? Well, I'm going to be learning a lot in my violin lessons, and we keep finding me more music in the hopes that some of it will be performable by juries in May.

I validated today and wrote out a check for $1,275. The sticker shock was so bad, I was forced back to my room for prayer and reflection. (if you don't get the movie reference, that's okay) Actually, that was normal devo time, but it was still rather traumatic to shell out almost half my account in one go. Plus, I had already spent over $100 on books, and that's with splitting the cost with Dianna for two classes.

And last night we played capture the flag. It was pretty sweet. My team won, and Dianna yelled at me because she gets ubber-competitive about everything. Oh well. I managed to drive both Whipps and Clint (with his frightening black tights) away from the flag I was guarding.

Anyways, so far things look good. Further updates after I go to more of my classes.
